Baseline Dates are optional fields that can be used at the job or operation level.   The baseline dates can optionally have a baseline shift associted with them.   In total there are:

1. Job Baseline Start Date
2. Job Baseline Start Shift
3. Job Baseline End Date
4. Job Baseline End Shift
5. Operation Baseline Start Date
6. Operation Baseline Start Shift
7. Operation Baseline End Date
8. Operation Baseline End Shift

The Job Baseline Dates and Shifts are selected through Terms and Settings.  Operation Baseline Dates and Shifts are selected through Operation Grid Selections.

Optionally the baseline start date can be used to measure your manufacturing plan to start at any moment in time against your current and actual activity. Note: baseline dates do not have an impact on the scheduling of jobs or operations unless an alternate schedule is established with baseline dates. 

Baselines Dates and Shift can be entered manually or they can be set using Mfg Orders Job Grid Tools.
