The Book Time command books the given resource for the duration of the given operation range. If the operation range is “Job”, then the resource is booked for the duration of the job. Book Time requires that either a resource or resource pool be given for the command. The Book Time command can also include a percent factor for how much the entire resource should be loaded. The percentage used for Book Time is different than that of the And% because a Book Time command does not have a prime operation as in a And block.
The format for the Book Time command is as follows:
Book Time Job
Book the resource for the entire job.
Book Time Job 25%
Book the given resource 25% for the entire job.
Book Time 10
Book the given resource for the entire length of operation 10.
Book Time 10 to 30
Book the given resource from the start of operation 10 through to the end of 30.
Book Time 10 50%
Book the given resource 50% for the entire length of operation 10.
Book Time 10 to 20 25%
Book the given resource 25% from the start of operation 10 through to the end of 20.
The example below books operation 30 for the entire time it takes to do operation 40 through to operation 60:
The example below books operation 30 for the 50% of the time it takes to do operation 40 through to operation 60. Operation 70 is booked for 10% of the time for the entire job:
