The noncontiguous minimum runtime is the minimum time allotment per shift for an operation or resource. The scheduler uses this minimum time allotment to determine the minimum amount of time to break operations into.  That is, if 2 hours was entered as the minimum time allotment, the scheduler would not use any available time slot that is less than 2 hours for an operation on that resource. 

The minimum time allotment/shift must be less than the hours/operation.  If 0 is entered as the minimum time allotment, then any available time on the resource can be used
