Template jobs are jobs with operations whose routings you frequently wish to schedule.  A template job is typically copied to a job with a different job state when the template routing is required.  This procedure allows you to keep standard routings on file and call them up (i.e. schedule the job) whenever required. 

No two template jobs may have the same part number unless the part number is blank.  That is, a template job must either have a blank part number or a unique part number.
