Implementation Strategy
Previous Topic  Next Topic

The implementation of any new tool requires a plan.  It is recommended that you follow the simple procedure of:

  1. Plan
  2. Execute the plan
  3. Measure the results
  4. Adjust the plan accordingly
  5. Repeat the process

Dynafact offers consulting services to help you with the training and implementation of DMS.  These consulting services include the following:

Set Up Prototype (Fit-Gap Analysis)

This step is designed to manually produce the data model and test the work flow though the system prior to defining integration to other systems. Resources are set up and job work flow is tested. This is an opportunity to run the business logic requirements through the system and uncover any Gaps that may exist.

Statement of Work Development Support

If integration is required or if any Gaps with business logic have been determined from step #1 a Statement of Work (SOW) is produced with the development plan to overcome the Gaps.

Development

Development takes place from step #2

Deployment

Programming and/or procedure enhancements are deployed and tested

Basic & Analysis Training

This training is designed to give the stakeholders the tools they need to access information and generally perform the tasks that they need to do. Analysis training for the planner/schedulers is recommended for advanced system use. DMS Report Writer training is recommended for select personnel.

Testing and Go Live Readiness

This is the final go live phase where the system is brought up to go live readiness and run in parallel with the legacy scheduling process

Go Live

The system is taken live to production
