The following symbols are used in the Job Gantt Chart:
The release date of the job.
The due date of the job. It may be green for in process or red if late.
Baseline job start date if displaying baselines dates.
Baseline job end date if displaying baseline dates.
Last schedule completion date (LSC date) if displaying the last scheduled complete date.
Job Promise Date if displaying the job promise date.
Job or operation material date if displaying the material date.
Shows the start date of the job to the completion date of a job.
Shows the start date of the job to the completion date of a late job.
Shows the start date of the job to the completion date of an in process job. The light green bar shows the percent complete for the job. In the example given here, the job is about 50% completed.
Shows the start date of the job to the completion date of an in process late job. The light green bar shows the percent complete for the job. In the example given here, the job is about 90% completed.
Shows a scheduled operation from the operation's start date to the end operation's end date.
Shows a scheduled in process operation from the operation's start date to the end operation's end date. The light green bar shows the percent complete for the operation.

Placing the mouse over a bar or milestone will display the bar/milestone's hint giving detail on the job/operation.
