Export Grid Contents

When you choose to export the contents of a grid, the following screen appears:



To export the grid, perform the following steps:


  1. Click on the file format that you would like (see Export Grid Contents File Formats for more information).  The choices are:
    1. CSV (Comma Separated Values) for a text file format using a ~ delimiter between each field.
    2. Word DOC for a Word document file format.
    3. Excel file format for an XLS file format.
    4. PDF format for a Portable Document Format.  If PDF is the selected format, the PDF Fit to page will ensure that the document being printed will fit width wise on the page.
  2. Export filename Enter the export filename.  You can click on the open folder icon at the end of the prompt to browse where you want to write the file to.
  3. Click OK to start the import process.  DMS will response with the following confirmation window:


  1. Click OK to start the export or click Cancel to cancel the export. 
  2. When the export has been completed, the following window will appear:
