Set Password Rotation enables you to setup a time limit in days after which DMS will force or nag users to change their password each time the user logs into DMS.  To set the password rotation policies, you must have Security Access as set in User Passwords.  To setup a password rotation policy, select Security | Set Password Rotation from the main menu.  The following window will appear:

The prompts are:

  1. Enable password rotation Select this check box to enable password rotation.  If unchecked, password rotation is disabled.
  2. Nag reminder only If you want to nag the user with a reminder only, select this check box.  If unselected and the user password has expired, DMS forces the user to enter a new password, with a popup window when the user logs into DMS.
  3. Change password ever ___ days  Enter the number of days before DMS will forces a user to change their password.  The number of days will compare the current time to the date the user last changed their password, called the Date Password Changed in User Passwords).
