Job Tables Delete is a very powerful command that deletes all jobs ( including template jobs), operations, and jobs status information from a dataset. It does not affect the resources or other tables within DMS. Its purpose is to prepare a dataset for the import of jobs and operations using Import Orders. You only need to use this command if you are completely refreshing the jobs and operations in your dataset. You can only clear select tables from the dataset you are logged in on; you cannot clear a dataset that you are not logged in on.
CAUTION! Once you have selected and executed Clear Selected Tables the job, operation, and job status data cannot be recovered by DMS. The only way to recover this data is to use an external backup and restore the SQL database.
To execute this command, select Database | Job Tables Delete from the general menu. Confirm the deletion of jobs, operations, and job status data by pressing OK.
For example, to delete the dataset "NewData" login to the dataset and select Database | Job Tables Delete.
DMS then confirms that you want to clear the selected tables for the dataset "NewData":
DMS confirms that the new tables have been created. Press OK to continue.
