The current resource work week is the week number calculated from the Schedule Options' Manufacturing work week 1 date. For example, if the Manufacturing work week 1 date is Jan 1, 2019 and the schedule start date is Jan 14, 2019, the current work week would be 3 and the current resource work week would be:
•1 if there is one variable work week
•1 if there are two variable work weeks
•3 if there are three variable work weeks
•3 if there are four variable work weeks
As another example, if the Manufacturing work week 1 date is Jan 1, 2019 and the schedule start date is Jan 21, 2019 (one week later than the above example), the current work week would be 4 and the current resource work week would be:
•1 if there is one variable work week
•2 if there are two variable work weeks
•1 if there are three variable work weeks
•4 if there are four variable work weeks
The current resource work week is used by the scheduler to determine the resource profile to use. If you have 2 variable work weeks and a resource has 2 defined resource profiles, the scheduler will use the resource week 1 profile if the current resource work week is 1, and use the resource week 2 profile if the current resource work week is 2.
If a resource has only one work week defined then the scheduler will always use the resource week 1 profile regardless of the current resource work week.
During a schedule run, the user can change the current resource work week for that schedule run.
