The following tutorials give you step by step directions on how to use the Report Designer to create a new report:

.Report on Jobs Tutorial  This tutorial creates a new report to report on jobs and is inherited from the Job Base Report.

.Report on Jobs and Operations Tutorial  Using the report created in the first tutorial, this tutorial modifies the report by adding a "Detail" report band to report on operations.

.How to Add User Fields to a Report

.Report Scripts using Jobs Tutorial  Using the report created in the tutorials 1 and 2, this tutorial adds a script to display a flag when a job is late.

.Report on Jobs using Group Header Tutorial

.Report on Dispatch Tutorial  This tutorial also uses a Group Heading Band to group by resource name.

.Report on Capacities Tutorial

.Report on Job Updating Tutorial

The DMS install includes several DMS Reports that can be viewed in the Report Designer to see how certain tasks are accomplished.  For example, to see how grouping works and for an example of several scripts in a report, you can look at the Net Change by Job Identification (NetChange.fr3) report.  You can take one of these standard reports, copy it using Copy Report, and then modify the copy to create a new report.
