Reset Orphaned Assembly Jobs

 

If an assembly was deleted improperly, components of the assembly may become orphaned.  The command Reset Orphaned Assembly Jobs will correct the problem by resetting any orphaned assembly components to be regular jobs.

 

From Mfg Orders Job Grid, select Grid Tools | Assembly Jobs | Reset Orphaned Assembly Jobs. 

 

If DMS does not find any orphaned assembly jobs, the following message is displayed:

 

 

If DMS finds any orphaned assembly jobs, a window will display showing how many jobs have been identified.  In the example below, there are 10 orphaned assembly jobs:

 

 

If Yes is selected, DMS resets the orphaned assembly jobs to be regular jobs.  No cancels the command.
