To change a base report, from Mfg Orders Job Grid select File | Reports | Edit Template Report.  The following window will appear:

The base template reports are located in the folder \DMSReports\Templates.  From this folder you can select one of the following base template reports to edit:

1. To edit the Base Report that all reports are inherited from, select BaseReport.fr3 
2. To edit the Job Base Report that all job/operation reports are inherited from, select JobBaseReport.fr3
3. To edit the Dispatch Base Report that all dispatch reports are inherited from, select DispatchBaseReport.fr3
4. To edit the Capacity Base Report that all capacity reports are inherited from, select CapacityBaseReport.fr3
5. To edit the Job Updating Base Report that all job updating reports are inherited from, select JobUpdatingBaseReport.fr3
6. Once the report to edit has been selected, press the Customize Templates button.  The DMS Report Designer will appear allowing you to make changes to the base report as required.

Note:  For each of the base reports, you should not remove the master data band.  The master data band is used in each report as the driver to collect the required data to produce the report.  For each base report, the following master data band is required:

1. The Base Report does not have a master data band and is used as a template for all other reports.
2. The Job Base report must have the Jobs data in the master band.
3. The Dispatch Base report must have the Operations data in the master band.
4. The Capacity Base report must have the Resources data in the master band.
5. The Job Updating Base report must have the Job Updating Transaction data in the master band.
