The Calendar tab adjusts options for the main monthly calendar display.

The options are as follows:

  1. Auto monthly change  If this option is checked then if you click on a day before or after the current month the calendar will automatically display the new month you clicked on.
  2. Calendar balloon memo  This option enables you to display a calendar's activity details in a balloon (pop up display) when the mouse hovers over the calendar activity and the activity has a decription.  The following display shows a snippet of the calendar with the mouse hovered over a calendar activity:

  1. Show start time of day  When this option is checked the calendar will show the starting time of the activity on the calendar as per the example above where the start time of 8:00 is shown.  If unchecked, the start time is not displayed on the calendar for the activities.
  2. Show Week Numbers  If this option is checked the week number starting from January 1 will be displayed with a title of "Wk" as in the example below circled in red:

  1. Show days before/after month  If checked, the previous months days and next months days are displayed on the calendar.
  2. Display Alarm Window  If checked, the Alarm Window will be displayed when an activity reminder is about to start.  If unchecked the activity alarm sound is played and the alarm window does not appear.
  3. Alarm interval for refresh  This option selects how often you want DMS to check for activity reminders to display/sound the alarm for reminders.  If set to "0 No timer" the alarm reminder is disabled.  You can set the interval to no timer, or from 2 minutes to 240 minutes.  If you are using alarms. you should typically set the interval for refresh to values between 2 and 15 minutes.
  4. Number of items before scroll  This option is used to display scroll bars if more activities than the selected number of items is displayed on a given day.  It can be set from 1 to 5.  In the example below the number of items to scroll has been set to 2 and there are 3 activities on a day.  Scroll bars appear at the end of the week (circled in red at the end of week 32) so that you can scroll up or down the activities.

  1. Alarm wave file  The alarm wave file is the sound wave that will be played when an activity alarm goes off.  DMS goes with a few standard wave file sounds or you can add your own.  The Test button enables you to here the sound wave you have selected.
