Resources Pools tab

The Resource Pools tab enables you to define the pools that a resource is a member of.

For the selected resource in the resource tree, the pools available are listed as well as the pools that the resource is already a member of.  In the example below, the selected resource in the Resource Tree is "CNC 3A1" and it is a member of four pools; "All Equipment", "CNC 3+ Axis", "CNC Seconday" and "Facility 1" as shown in the CNC 3A1 is a member of list box.  Other pools defined in DMS that "CNC 3A1" is not a member of are listed in the Pools Available list box.

You can drag and drop pools from one list box to the other or use the copy and remove buttons on the screen to add or remove pools from a resource.  After you have setup the pools for the given resource, click on the Save button to save the changes or Cancel to cancel the changes.

You can look at all the resources that are a member of a pool, adjust pools, and set the priority selection for scheduling a pool by using the Pools tab.  When you add a resource to a pool using the above screen the resource gets added to the pool with the lowest selection priority.  That is, the resource is added to the pool at the end of the selection list.
