Set Default Search

The Mfg Orders Job Grid enables you to specify a default saved search to run when the user first enters into Mfg Orders.  To specify a default search select Selections | Default Search.  To setup a default search to run, perform the following steps:


  1. Define the default search you want to run using Save Search. You must use a search that currently exists.
  2. Select View | Default Search from the menu.
  3. The following window appears displaying the current default search and the first saved search in a drop down menu box.  In the example below the default search is "New Orders":



  4. To add a default search, select a search from the Search selection drop down menu.
  5. Click OK to save the selected search as the default, or click Cancel to ignore the selection.
  6. The selected search will be displayed as the Default search.
  7. Click Exit to exit the default search screen.


If you want to remove a default search and display all jobs in the grid, click Clear Default to remove the default search and then click OK to set the default to blank.
