The Material Total Quantity is the total amount of material required for the job or operation.  If the material per piece is selected the Material Qty Required is multiplied by the Quantity to Build for the job to get the Material Total Quantity.  If not selected, the material qty required is not multiplied by the quantity to build; the material quantity given is the total amount required for the job regardless of the job's quantity to build.
