Percent complete shows the percent complete for an operation and/or for a job. 

During Job Status Updating, the percent complete can be reported to give a percent complete for the operation. The transaction will just simply be recorded if “Recalculate planned time” is not checked. However, if “Recalculate planned time” is checked, DMS will take the cumulative actual time to date reported against the operation and the percent complete reported for the current transaction and then recalculate planned time.

For example, suppose the original planned hours for the operation was 10 hours. Suppose 5 hours were reported back and a percent complete of 25% was given and “Recalculate planned time” was checked. DMS would set the operation to 25% complete; reset the planned runtime to 20 hours with a remaining runtime of 15 hours.  

Reporting on percent complete can be turned on or off using Job Updating Options.
