Assembly Selections enables you to search for jobs that are part of a given assembly and/or have certain assembly attributes. To access assembly selections, select Selections | Assembly Selections. Note that if you have made selections the button will toggle On.
After clicking on the Assembly Selections button, the following window will appear:
If you have previously made selections from this window and you have not cleared the selections using the Clear Selections button in Manufacturing Orders or the Clear button in the window above, then the previous selections will be displayed in the window.
The following entries can be made:
1.Assembly Name You can enter the assembly name for the search. Existing assembly names can be seen by using the drop-down menu on the prompt. Wildcards can be used.
2.Final Order Number The final order number of the assembly can be entered for the search. Existing final assembly order numbers can be seen by using the drop-down menu on the prompt.
3.Assembly Selection You can select that all jobs be included in the search, final assembly job components and all their components, or just the final assembly job components.
4.Secondary Priority from/to You can select assembly components that have a given secondary priority range. If you want to select jobs by secondary priority, check the Secondary Priority and enter the range you want to search on.
5.Click OK to accept the search criteria or click Cancel to restore the search criteria to the state it was when you entered into Assembly Selections.
Each time entries are made to the Assembly Selections and the button located at the bottom left side of the window is pressed, the search criteria is added to the existing search and the search prompts are blanked out so new entries can be made. This method enables you to perform cumulative searches for one or more assemblies.
In order for the search to be applied, you must click on the Search button.
If you click on the Clear button, all assembly selections will be cleared.
