Route Commands

Operations may have special routing controls called route commands.  Each route command may have an optional parameter called the route parameter.  The user enters information into the route parameter such as lot size, hours to over lap, etc.  DMS will prompt the user for a route parameter as required by the command selected.

The basic route commands are:

1.And

2.And%

3.Or

4.Sequence Type

5.Any Order

6.Split

7.Finite

8.Infinite

9.Hold Until

10.Book Time

11.Milestone

12.Comment

13.Dependent On

14.Alternate Route

Together with other options and controls in DMS, these commands form the DMS routing control language (RCL).

Note: Some routing control language commands may conflict and should not be used together.  If conflicting commands are used together, unpredictable schedule results may occur.
