Security Certificates

 

 

Security Certificates enables you to set up resources that are authorized to work on certain projects.  If an operation requires a security certificate, only those resources that have the corresponding security certificate can work on that operation.  If Apply Security Certificates is selected for a schedule run, the scheduler will select only those resources that have a security certificate to work on an operation that requires a security certificate.

 

There are two options when applying security certificates to a schedule run and these are set in the Schedule Options:

1.If no matching Security Certificate, print error and do not schedule operation  This selection will NOT schedule an operation if a resource with a security certificate cannot be found

2.If no matching Security Certificate, print warning and schedule operation  This selection will still schedule an operation even if a resource with a security certificate cannot be found.

 

The Job Identification is used to identify the security certificate for all the job's operations. 

 

The term Security Certificate can be changed using Terms and Settings.
