DMS Report Types

Each DMS report is assigned a report type that defines how the report will be executed and where the report will inherit its template base design from.  (See DMS Report Inheritance for information on report inheritance.)


The four DMS Report types are:


  1. Jobs
  2. Dispatch  
  3. Capacities
  4. Job Updating Transactions

Jobs


This report type is generated from the Job header information and is based on the JobBaseReport.fr3 template.  Reports can contain the following database table information:


  1. Jobs header
  2. Assemblies
  3. Assembly (final level)
  4. Job BOM links
  5. Job Multi Template
  6. Job User Fields
  7. Material
  8. Operations
  9. Operation User Fields
  10. Resource Profile


The Jobs report type has the Calculated Job Fields, Calculated Operation Fields and the DMS Terms that can be added to the report.



Dispatch  


This report type is generated from the Operations information and is based on the DispatchBaseReport.fr3 template.    Reports can contain the following database table information:


  1. Operations
  2. Dispatch Operations (daily work detail)
  3. Jobs header
  4. Job Updating Transactions
  5. Assemblies
  6. Assembly (final level)
  7. Job BOM links
  8. Job Multi Template
  9. Job User Fields
  10. Material
  11. Operation User Fields
  12. Resource Profile
  13. Resources


The Dispatch report type has the Calculated Job Fields, Calculated Operation Fields and the DMS Terms that can be added to the report.



Capacities


This report type is generated from the Resources information and is based on the CapacityBaseReport.fr3 template.    Reports can contain the following database table information:


  1. Resources
  2. Pools
  3. Resource Profile


The Capacities report type has the Calculated Capacities, Calculated Profiles and the DMS Terms that can be added to the report.



Job Updating Transactions


This report type is generated from the Job Updating Transactions information and is based on the JobUpdatingBaseReport.fr3 template.  Reports can contain the following database table information:


  1. Jobs Updating Transactions (i.e. information reported from the shop floor)
  2. Assemblies
  3. Assembly (final level)
  4. Job BOM links
  5. Job Multi Template
  6. Job User Fields
  7. Material
  8. Operations
  9. Operation User Fields
  10. Resource Profile
  11. Resources


The Job Updating Transactions report type has the Calculated Job Fields, Calculated Operation Fields and the DMS Terms that can be added to the report.
