Noncontiguous refers to blocks of time that can be used to schedule an operation where these blocks of time are not contiguous (adjacent). That is, the time available has interruptions.
A resource can be noncontiguous by selecting the noncontiguous setting in the Resource Profiles tab.
Operations can be noncontiguous by selecting the noncontiguous setting on the operations options panel on the Operations tab.
Noncontiguous resources and operations required a minimum runtime called the Noncontiguous Operation Runtime.
