The Delete Jobs by Job State enables you to delete all jobs by one or more job states.  The command is executed from the main menu using Database | Jobs by Job State.  To execute this command the users group must have access to “Clear Selected Tables” in the User Groups settings.  This command can be used to delete jobs by job state from DMS so that new jobs can be imported via a SQL script or a text file.  Note that once a job is deleted, it cannot be recovered.

The example below shows the Delete Jobs by Job State screen:

  1. Select File | Delete Jobs by Job State or click on the delete icon.

  1.
