Inv Abbrev (inventory abbreviation) is a way of categorizing inventory for a job, project, or group of projects.  Inv Abbrev is an optional field used in DMS  material details and inventory.  Inv Abbrev can be hidden if not used and the term can be changed using Terms & Settings.
